🔥 About the Role
Ascension Studios is seeking a part-time Community Events Coordinator to help us expand and energize our calendar of high-vibe events. This hybrid role includes a Platinum Membership (valued at $199/month) in exchange for light work-trade hours, plus commission-based earnings for event bookings and venue rentals.
You'll be the connector between the studio and the wider DFW creative and healing communities—reaching out to facilitators, artists, bands, curating collabs, and helping create events that are aligned, impactful, and well-attended.
💫 What You’ll Get:
A Platinum Studio Membership in exchange for a minimum of 15 work-trade hours/month
Commission pay for:
-Booking private rentals
-Coordinating revenue-sharing events
-Coordinating vendors for in-house events
-Supporting community experiences that generate ticket sales
Responsibilities:
Handle inbound event rental inquiries and manage the booking process.
Build relationships with local businesses, event organizers, and community leaders to generate new leads.
Coordinate event logistics, ensuring all details align with client expectations.
Promote Ascension Studios as the premier venue for music, creative and healing events.
Ideal Candidate:
Event planning or sales experience.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
A positive, can-do attitude and a love for community engagement.
Ability to multitask and handle multiple events simultaneously.
